Job Description

Direct and manage all photographic content for the Templar Yearbook, ensuring high standards of creativity and quality.
n
Work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor to hire a team of photo editors and editorial freelance photographers
n
Lead and mentor a team of freelance photographers and photo editors, organizing schedules, assigning tasks, and overseeing all photo assignments.
n
Check-in with the Sports Team to ensure photo assignments for that section are being delegated and completed.
n
Work closely with photo editors to ensure that the final photographic output aligns with the established themes and quality standards.
n
Manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring that the photography schedule aligns with the yearbook's production schedule
n
Strong understanding of digital photography and photo editing softwares
n
Robust leadership skills and communication skills to effectively manage and mentor a team
n
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
