The Technical Business Analyst is accountable under broad direction to undertake complex work and provide leadership within the Data & Analytics transformation program.
n
The role collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to define, document, and deliver high-quality business and technical requirements aligned to target architecture and business outcomes. Additionally, the Technical Business Analyst acts as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions meet both operational needs and strategic objectives.

Key duties and responsibilities
n
n
Lead the development ofbusiness and technical requirements, ensuring alignment to program objectives
n
Develop and
maintaintraceability
frameworkslinking deliverables to business outcomes
n
Elicit, analyse, and documentbusiness requirements, data flows, and process models(current and future state)
n
Translate business needs intotechnical specifications and solution designs
n
Facilitatestakeholder
workshops, meetings, and working groups
n
Review solution designs to ensure alignment with requirements and expected outcomes
n
Provide input into thedesign and implementation of data and analytics solutions
n
Collaborate acrossbusiness, technical and vendor teamsto deliver integrated outcomes dependant on business priorities
n

Essential criteria
n
n
Demonstrated expertise leading business and technical requirements development within large-scale data and analytics programs
n
Experience implementing cloud data platforms and/or analytics solutions, including data architecture (data models, ETL, governance, security)
n
Proven ability to document complex data flows and business processes
n
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
n
Practical experience working in Agile delivery environments, including epics, user stories, and backlog management
n
n
Desirable criteria
n
n
Experience working across multi-vendor and complex delivery environments, with the ability to navigate integrated technology landscapes
n
Experience operating within Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum Master responsibilities or facilitating Agile ceremonies
n
Experience with analytics platforms (e.g. SAS Viya) and data environments, including exposure to enterprise data and reporting solutions
n
Proficiency in data analysis and technical tooling, including SQL, Python, or similar technologies to support data-driven outcomes
n
