The role is available on either a permanent full-time or part-time basis, reporting to the Chief Technologist, with weekday shifts rostered between 8:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
n
Role Overview
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting Radiologists with a range of interventional procedures, including obtaining informed consent, completing medical history assessments, monitoring baseline observations, and providing post-procedure patient recovery.
n
Administering medications as required for procedures and examinations.
n
Supporting a variety of interventional procedures including biopsies, lumbar punctures, drainages, and pain management injections.
n
Collaborating with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administration teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
n
Maintaining high clinical standards while contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
n

What we're looking for:
n
n
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Endorsed Enrolled Nurses are also encouraged to apply).
n
Cannulation experience is desirable but not essential.
n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach.
n
Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
n
