Casual Customer Service Officer

About the Role
n
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with strong customer service experience and a passion for inventory accuracy.
n
You will not only be our first point of contact for our customers, but also the key person in branch responsible for all inventory management, stock flow and warehouse coordination.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Coordinating the receiving, checking and storing of incoming goods
n
Maintaining accurate inventory records, stock levels and assisting with stocktakes
n
Managing order fulfilment, including picking, packing, and organising store transfers
n
Processing sales, orders and invoices using point of sale and financial systems
n
Working with the branch team to optimise stock availability and movement
n
Assisting customers with product enquiries and building strong, ongoing relationships
n
Upholding AGnVET's safety and compliance standards
n
Supporting general branch operations where required
n
n
This role is casual, offering a minimum of 2 days per week.
n
About You
n
Essential:
n
n
Cert III in Retail (or minimum 2 years' retail or warehouse experience)
n
Strong customer service capability with well-developed communication skills
n
Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and maintain accuracy
n
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook) and experience with POS or ERP / Financial
n
systems
n




Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
n
Problem solving ability and a proactive, self-starter mindset
n
Current valid driver's licence
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
n
Experience within the agricultural sector
n
Previous inventory management or warehouse coordination experience
n
