The Role:
n
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute across the full engineering lifecycle, from production support through to project delivery and commissioning. The role combines hands-on collaboration with Engineers at our Prestons production facility and office-based project engineering activities in North Sydney.
n
You will be actively involved in project engineering and commissioning activities across Australia, gaining exposure to technically complex systems while playing a key role in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
Support production and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.
n
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to coordinate installation, maintenance, and testing activities in compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
n
Prepare and review specifications, reports, and documentation related to electrical systems, equipment, and project progress.
n
Ensure all operational and installation activities meet client requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes.
n
Work alongside engineers and technicians to optimize system processes, operational workflows,



and project execution efficiency.
n
Liaise with clients and project stakeholders to address technical issues, progress updates, and project-specific requirements.
n

Skills & Experience:
n
n
Relevant qualifications and proven experience in a field-based role within an industrial engineering or mining organisation.
n
Prior site or commissioning experience is highly advantageous.
n
Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards, including AS****, AS**** AS****, and AS*****.
n
Strong understanding of electrical installations with the ability to diagnose faults effectively.
n
Extensive experience with low and medium voltage switchgear and electrical system operations.
n
Experience preparing technical documentation, including ITPs, O&M; manuals, commissioning documents, and project reports.
n
Diverse skills in automation and control systems.
n
