THE POSITION:
As the
Vehicle Detailer/ Yard Person
you will be responsiblefor all aspects of vehicle cleaning & preparation prior to customer delivery, transporting vehicles between sites for repairs, fuel runs and other requirementsof maintaining the presentation of the new and used car business.
This role is pivotal in maintaining the dealerships high presentation standards, ensuring positive customer experiences & professional appearance of the dealership.
As aVehicle Detailer you are given many opportunities to show initiative and will enjoy varying challenges each day.
The Role will include:
Transporting vehicles to the required locations.
Ensuring vehicle keys and books are handled and processed correctly.
Ensuring all trade plates are used and accounted for.
Fuelling vehicles as required.
Liaising with dedicated Pre Delivery and Sales staff.
Recording and reporting all vehicle damage.
The successful applicant will have:
A strong attention to detail
A manual driver's license with a good driving history
Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
Positive communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
Must be a team player with good work ethics
Previous detailing and maintenance experience is preferred but not essential. A manual driver's license is essential for this role. Enjoy excellent working conditions, variety as well as opportunities for internal promotions for excellent workers.
