Financial & Fund Accountant - Large Investment Group

This is a broad financial accounting role supporting a sophisticated funds management and investment business.
n
You'll work across corporate and fund reporting, investment support, financial analysis, and contribute to projects that uplift systems, processes, and commercial decision‐making.
n
Rather than a narrow month‐end role, this position offers variety — blending technical accounting, fund operations, financial insights, and cross‐functional collaboration with investment, operations, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
End‐to‐End Financial Reporting — statutory, management, and investor reporting across multiple entities
n
Fund & Investment Support — NAVs, valuations, reconciliations, and performance insights
n
Commercial Analysis — support budgeting, forecasting, and investment modelling
n
Month‐End Ownership — journals, balance sheet integrity, variance commentary
n
Regulatory & Audit — liaise with auditors, ensure compliance across funds and corporate entities
n
Stakeholder Engagement — partner with investment teams,



operations, and senior finance
n
Process & Systems Uplift — streamline workflows, enhance controls, support system enhancements
n
Project Work — new product launches, fund transitions, automation initiatives, data improvements
n

About You
n
n
CA/CPA qualified or progressing
n
Background in funds management, financial services, audit (FS clients), fund administration, or commercial finance
n
Strong technical accounting foundation with appetite for broader exposure
n
Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, evolving investment environment
n
Curious, proactive, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
n
