CanberraCity/Braddon/Kingston/Gungahlin/Mitchell/Tuggeranong/Wanniassa(Erindale)/Woden/Weston/Belconnen (CISAC)/Queanbean/Goulburn - joinone or many, the choice is yours!
As a hiit republic Coach, you'll report to the Studio Managerand lead classes that are fun, challenging and motivating, in anenvironment where everyone belongs. We've redefined group trainingthrough a fusion of HIIT, strength and conditioning principles -helping every member unleash their inner athlete, no matter wherethey're starting from.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with:
Essential Qualifications
Certificate III in Fitness
CPR Certification (current and valid)
First Aid Certification (current and valid)
For roles in Creche, Swim School, and Group FitnessInstruction (GFI) in QLD: a valid Working with Children orWorking with Vulnerable People Check is required. Pleaseconfirm with management whether this applies to yourposition
Desirable Qualifications
Certificate IV in Fitness
Skills & Experience
Proficiency in First Aid procedures and commitment tomaintaining a protected training environment
Strong knowledge of fitness training methods, exerciseprinciples, and program deliver
Familiarity with fitness technology, equipment, and moderninstructional techniques
Ability to consistently promote and uphold safety standardsfor members and staff
Excellent verbal communication and active listeningskills




A motivational, adaptable communication style that engagesdiverse member groups
Effective time management skills to ensure smooth classpacing and studio scheduling
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to buildrapport, foster inclusivity, and engage groups
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver high-quality group fitness classes withprofessionalism, including setup, pack down, and safe use ofequipment
Role model Viva Leisure values and uphold highstandards of behaviour and conduct
Motivate and support members, ensuring correct techniqueand fostering strong member relationships to encourageretention and growth
Collaborate effectively with studio staff and the broaderViva Leisure team
Maintain compliance with Work Health & Safety policies,reporting hazards and incidents promptly
Stay current with certifications and adhere to all relevantfitness industry standards and facility procedures
Promote gym services and assist members with enquiries,escalating issues to the Studio Leader when necessary
