Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance team, reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, analysing complex data and turning insights into meaningful business outcomes.
n You'll play a key role across financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis, while partnering with senior leaders and business teams to support informed decision-making.
n About the Role In this role, you will:
n
n
Partner with key business units and senior stakeholders to understand performance, identify opportunities and drive improvements.
n
Lead and support the budgeting and forecasting process, including consolidation and preparation of Board materials.
n
Prepare monthly financial analysis, management reporting and ad-hoc commercial analysis.
n
Develop financial models and scenarios to support revenue and cost growth decisions.
n
Analyse key business metrics including profitability, recovery and productivity.
n
Provide commercial insights and decision support for strategic projects and initiatives.
n
Support the Commercial team and broader Executive Leadership team with financial analysis.
n
Identify opportunities to improve FP&A; processes, systems and reporting.
n
Contribute to new business acquisition analysis and forecasting.
n
Work closely with Technology & Digital teams on finance, payroll and practice management systems.
n
Develop explicit and compelling financial presentations for senior stakeholders and the Board.

About You We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance capability with excellent commercial and stakeholder management skills.
n You will ideally have:
n
n
CPA or CA qualification.
n
Approximately 5+ years' experience in management accounting, financial accounting, FP&A; or business analysis.
n
Experience within a professional services environment is highly desirable.
n
Solid financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities.
n
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Pivot, lookups and financial modelling.
n
Experience working with financial and business intelligence systems such as SAP, BST, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, TM1 or Cognos.
n
The ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, commercially relevant insights.
n
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
n
A proactive approach to identifying process improvements and challenging existing practices.
n
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
n
