We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong electrical fault-finding skills, PLC experience and a background working with automated production machinery.
n
You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running efficiently, responding to breakdowns and completing preventative maintenance across a busy manufacturing facility.

The Role
n
n
Electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding on manufacturing equipment
n
Diagnosing electrical faults and minimising production downtime
n
Fault finding and troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery
n
Working with automated production lines, motors, sensors, drives and control systems
n
Preventative and scheduled maintenance
n
Responding to machinery breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently
n
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
n
Identifying recurring faults and assisting with equipment improvements
n
Supporting machine installations, upgrades and modifications
n
Working closely with production and maintenance teams
n
Completing maintenance documentation and reports
n
Following all WHS,



electrical and site safety procedures
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Qualified Electrical Fitter / Electrician with relevant Australian electrical
qualifications/licensing
n
Previous experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, food or industrial environment
n
Strong PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting experience
n
Experience working with automated manufacturing machinery
n
Strong electrical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
Experience with motors, VSDs, sensors and industrial control systems
n
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
n
Strong understanding of preventative maintenance
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a maintenance team
n
Reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
n
