Are you a hands‐on and solutions‐focused Product Developer ready to make a meaningful impact in food production?
At Primo Foods, you'll play a key role in supporting product development, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement across our portfolio. You'll work closely with cross‐functional teams to enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation within a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support EPD and product improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance
Identify and implement cost‐reduction and process‐optimisation opportunities
Analyse production processes, ingredients, machinery and yields to pinpoint improvements
Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory and customer quality standards
Provide technical R&D; support across operations, supply chain, procurement and QA
Troubleshoot product, process and quality issues and support root cause analysis
Conduct trials in pilot and factory environments and track outcomes
Research new ingredients, packaging and processing technologies
Use data‐driven insights to support formulation improvements and scalability
Manage timelines, deliverables and key milestones across simultaneous projects
About You
Degree in Food Science,



Food Technology or related field
2+ years' experience in product development, R&D;, QA or food manufacturing
Robust understanding of HACCP, FSANZ, GMP and food safety principles
Analytical thinker with experience running trials and solving production issues
Excellent communicator with strong cross‐functional collaboration skills
Detail‐oriented, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‐paced manufacturing workplace
