CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Electro-Technical Officer to join our cement carrier Goliath on a roster schedule 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. This operation is based in the Bass Strait. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Electro-Technical Officeris responsible
formaintainingelectrical
and electronic equipment.

Maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment
n
Adopting safe working practices
n
UMS test schedules, alarm test etc
n
Assistingduring maintenance as required over and above electrical equipment maintenance
n
First level maintenance of
communications,radioand
navigation equipment

Providing support for safe and productive running of electrical equipment during cargo operations
n

Basic Requirements

Educational requirement: as per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Electro-Technical Officer (required)
n
AMSA Electro-Technical Officer CoC/CoRUnlimited
n
Certificate of Safety Training (STCW)(desirable)
n
Work Safely at Heights
Certification(desirable)
n
Enter and Work in Confined Space
Certification(desirable)
n
Hold, or be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)(required)
n
Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
