We are looking for a Cardiac Physiologist to be based in metro Victoriawho wishes to train as a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (Cardiac Sonographer).
n
Whatyou'lldo:

Working acrossall Advara HeartCare Victoria
practices(core,satellite

regional)whenrequiredtoprovideexceptional
patient care.

You willbe requiredto work closely with other Cardiac Physiologists, Specialist Cardiac
Physiologists,Cardiologistsand
all practice staff to ensure best practice and optimise patient outcomes.
n
Work closely with our team of Specialist Cardiac
Physiologists,Clinical
Supervisorand Lead Cardiac Physiologiststo gain practical and theoretical skills associated with the performance of an
Echocardiogramfollowingthe
clinical standards set by our Cardiologist team and ASE guidelines
n
Have theability toidentifyareas requiring improvement and to actively direct your learning to correct this or to seek guidance from your Clinical Supervisor
n
Contribute to fellow Echo Traineeslearning through participation in learning-based groups and activities
n
Be enrolled in an accredited Cardiac Sonography course and be able to perform the hours of required study,examsand
assignmentsoutsideof
the time rostered in the clinical workplace.
n
Be able to financially contribute to the course fees upfront with a fee re-imbursement agreement upon successful completion of the course.
n




Work in the clinical setting for a minimum of 4 days per week. Will
berequiredtoprovide
assistancein CP duties throughout and beyond SCP training when a need for support exists.
n
Mandatory completion of Advara's National Echo Training Program required prior tocommencingformal university studiesto progress with training role.

Who you are:

Previousemployment and experience as a Cardiac Physiologistat Advara
HeartCareisrequired
n
Demonstrated ability and willingness to provide guidance and theoretical education to less experienced Cardiac Physiologists.
n
Demonstrated alignment with Advara's core values and growth strategies of both the broader company as well as the Vic Cardiac Physiologist team.
n
An ability to work effectively, bothindependently and in a team.
n
An ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasks.
n
An understanding of patient service principles with an ability to respond empathetically to patient needs.
n
The ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal / external demands.
n
The ability to follow direction; accept feedback; learn new tasks and adapt to change.

Exceptional communication skillsand ability toestablishrapport with team members both above and below the Trainee SCP position.
n
Demonstrated ability to receive and respond effectively to supervisor and doctor feedback and constructive criticism.

An ability to actively seek practical training
whereappropriateand
inform supervisor of your ongoing progress and developmental needs.

Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with others and take clinical direction from more
experiencedSpecialist
Cardiac Physiologists.

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of cardiac ultrasound developments.
n
An ability to set aside dedicated time outside of clinical hours to progress theoretically.
n
License and car are essential, as the ability to travel between sites isa requirementof the role.
