About The Role
n
We are seeking a motivated and Fitter to support our Raisebore operations and ancillary fleet at Ernest Henry Mine. This hands-on role will see you performing a broad range of mechanical maintenance activities across both workshop and underground environments.
n
Working as part of a high-performing maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability through planned maintenance, repairs, breakdown response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance,



servicing, fault finding and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile plant and equipment.
n
Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace components to ensure equipment reliability and operational performance.
n
Maintain plant and equipment in accordance with site procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
n
Complete maintenance documentation, inspections, pre-start checks, oil sampling, and reporting requirements accurately and on time.
n
Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and managing risks, participating in safety meetings, completing JSAs/Safe Stops, and reporting incidents, hazards, and near misses.
n
