TRS Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic for a permanent opportunity with an established business operating within the heavy equipment sector.

This position would suit a qualified mechanic looking for variety across workshop and field-based work, maintaining and repairing a range of earthmoving and mobile plant equipment.
n
The role offers long-term stability, overtime opportunities and the chance to work independently while being supported by an experienced technical team.
n
The Role Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
n
n
Servicing and repairing earthmoving and mobile plant equipment
n
Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
n
Hydraulic and basic electrical troubleshooting
n
Engine, transmission and component repairs
n
Preventative and scheduled maintenance
n
Equipment inspections and fault identification
n
Attending breakdowns and onsite repairs when required
n
Completing workshop and field service duties
n
Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
n
n
About You We Are Looking For Someone With
n
n
Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Technology qualifications
n
Previous experience working with heavy equipment, earthmoving or mobile plant
n




Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
n
Confident diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
n
Ability to work independently when required
n
Good communication and time-management skills
n
Strong commitment to workplace safety
n
Full Australian working rights
n
n
Additional licences and experience across field service, fabrication or welding will be well regarded but are not essential.
