The IT Business Partner (Spatial) is the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Enterprise Spatial Services within the Information Services Division. As part of the IT Business Engagement team, the role develops trusted business relationships, represents the voice of the customer, facilitate spatial technology demand, assist with service improvement, and supports the successful delivery and adoption of solutions delivered through DEECA's Enterprise Spatial Common Technology Platform (CTP).

The position leads engagement with DEECA's spatial user community, identifies and shapes business requirements, and works collaboratively with customers to validate solutions through demonstrations, prototypes, proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives. The role ensures spatial capabilities are aligned to business needs, deliver value, and support departmental priorities and supports the IT Business Engagement team with team priorities and non-spatial IT business demand where required.

Highly Desirable

n
Formal tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or related discipline with Geographic Information System experience.
n
Proven experience in engaging and managing stakeholders conflicting priorities and influencing outcomes
n
Experience with spatial services in a cloud hosted environment
n
Experience working in an ITIL environment
n
Experience with Agile development framework.
n
