Whether guests are stopping in for a quick schooner, catching up with mates or winding down after work, the bar provides a relaxed setting just off Parramatta Road.We're looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead the way for our team and keep the local community at the heart of everything we do.The RoleReporting to the Venue Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day running of the venue, supporting and motivating the team to deliver consistent, friendly service across the bar and floor.
You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards, managing shifts, and ensuring compliance across RSA, WHS and cash handling procedures.
Working closely with the management team, you'll help drive a positive culture, build strong relationships with regulars, and ensure Rosehill Hotel remains a genuine local favourite.As a group, we pride ourselves on being great humans to work with.

you'll play a critical role in supporting venue performance and leading high-performing teams by:Delivering sensational hospitality and memorable guest experiencesSupporting the Venue Manager with daily operations and service deliveryDemonstrating strong knowledge of Gaming Operations and complianceLeading, training and developing team members to raise service standardsManaging compliance, stock control, venue presentation and maintenanceOverseeing rosters in line with business needsImplementing and monitoring operational systems and proceduresRecruiting, onboarding and upskilling team membersWorking closely with senior leaders who share a clear vision and valuesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you'll bring:Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar hospitality leadership roleA natural leadership style grounded in respect and integrityStrong operational knowledge of running a busy hotel, pub or hospitality venueExperience coaching, motivating and developing teamsConfidence working with TAB, wagering and gaming operationsFlexibility to work nights, weekends and peak trade periodsA passion for hospitality and a commitment to continuous improvementA collaborative mindset, believing we achieve more when we're better togetherCurrent RSA,
