The Deputy Principal Community & Student Wellbeing at Marist College Bendigo is an Executive leadership role driving student wellbeing, child safety, family engagement, community partnerships and the Catholic Marist identity of the College. The role combines strategic leadership with a strong focus on relationship-building across students, staff, families, and the wider community.
Marist College Bendigois a Victorian co-educational Foundation to Year 12 college, governed by Marist Schools Australia Limited, serving just over 1,200 students. As the newest Marist school in Australia, Marist College Bendigo opened its doors in **** and has since experienced significant growth and development. The College is seeking an outstanding Catholic educator and accomplished executive leader with a demonstrated passion for community engagement and student wellbeing. This significant senior leadership position reflects the College's commitment to fostering strong partnerships with families and the broader community, while ensuring student wellbeing remains central to learning and achievement. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing a thriving, inclusive, and faith-filled learning community where every student is supported to flourish.
Essential Requirements
The following are essential requirements for Deputy Principals of a Marist school:
Membership of a Catholic Eucharistic community
Background in theology, preferably at the post-graduate level
Masters level education qualifications
Proven leadership skills exercised at a senior level in Catholic education
Sound knowledge of child safety standards in the school's jurisdiction

The successful candidate will commence this recent dynamic leadership position inJanuary ****.
Marist is a Foundation to Year 12 Catholic co-educational learning community owned and governed by Marist Schools Australia Limited. We are a learning community of 1,180 students and 150 staff. The 13-year journey of learning at Marist has three distinct learning areas La Valla (F-4), Montagne (5-8) and Champagnat (9-12).
