This role provides strategic and technical leadership for estimating activities across major tenders for an Operating Company (OpCo), ensuring robust, competitive and risk‐informed tender estimates are developed to support disciplined bid decisions and successful project outcomes.About the RoleThis role reports to the Head of Pre-Contracts & Risk and key responsibilities include:Lead and oversee the development of robust, accurate and competitive tender estimatesEnsure tender estimates fully reflect project scope, methodology, risk and opportunityEnsure estimates are appropriately market tested with the supply chain wherever possibleWhere estimates contain first principle estimates, ensure that any productivity assumptions are based on benchmark data wherever possibleProvide functional leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to bid‐level estimators (dotted line)Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Pre-contracts and Estimating functionsSupport integration of estimating with planning, commercial and risk disciplinesEngineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent tertiary qualificationExtensive experience leading estimates on major construction and infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of construction methodologies,
