The Role
As a Science and/or Math Teacher, you'll teach a mix of Main Lessons and subject-specific classes across the secondary years. This immersive teaching model allows students to engage deeply with academic, scientific and practical learning.
Main Lessonsare extended teaching blocks, usually taught each morning over several weeks, allowing students and teachers to explore a particular mathematical or scientific concept in much greater depth. In Science, this may involve observation, experimentation, investigation and discussion; in Mathematics, it allows time to develop concepts carefully, explore patterns and applications, and build genuine understanding rather than simply moving quickly from one topic to the next.
Weekly lessons and electivescomplement the Main Lessons by providing ongoing development of core knowledge, skills, practical work and problem-solving, while ensuring students are well prepared for the academic demands of the senior years.

Students do not participate in WACE subjects; however, the Steiner curriculum is aligned to the WA Curriculum.

Essential Requirements:
Current TRBWA teacher registration.
Current Working with Children Check.
