About the job
About the role
Perth (or Bunbury & Southwest)
This is an opportunity to join a reputable Occupational Therapy company, and step into an established caseload with strong ongoing referral demand and a waitlist behind it. The work is complex, interesting, realistic and varied, spanning clinic, community, schools, home visits and telehealth/work from home, depending on your interests, expertise and availability.
You retain choice over the referrals you accept.
Key responsibilities
Deliver occupational therapy services across NDIS, Medicare, private, medico-legal, mental health and complex disability
Work with paediatrics, adolescents, and/or adults across functional capacity assessments and other complex assessments
Provide clinical services in clinic, community, schools, home visits and telehealth settings
Collaborate with highly experienced OT leadership for supervision, mentoring, complex case discussion and debriefing
About you
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
Clinically confident and value high-quality work and collaboration with teams and families
Enjoy working with complexity
Value autonomy while appreciating access to a highly experienced professional team
About us
Bespoke OT is an owner-founded and ledOccupational Therapy practice servicing Perth and the South West, with Australia-wide telehealth services.
Bespoke OT is OT only, and deliberately so.
Experienced clinicians working alongside experienced clinicians.
We specialise in complex disability, mental health, paediatrics, functional assessment and complex care. Founder and Director Jasmine Smithers brings almost 20 years of OT experience,
including five years as a Specialist Support Coordinator working with highly complex presentations. Contractors have direct access to her experience, mentoring, clinical reasoning and established resources. NDIS registration is pending.
Connection to team is there when you want it, too. Contractors are welcome to opt into quarterly team events, and more regular lunches, coffees and informal catch-ups; with no expectation that you have to. Independent, but not professionally isolated.
THE SUPPORT
Contract independently. We'll handle the infrastructure. We want our OTs spending their time doing excellent OT; not unnecessarily managing administration.
Behind you is solid administrative and organisational support, including service agreements, invoicing and practice systems which you do not need to worry about.
You'll also have ongoing access to our comprehensive induction, Bespoke OT intranet and knowledge base, established templates, documented processes, clinical resources, NDIS resources and professional development.
If you're an experienced clinician but newer to NDIS, Jasmine can help you build that knowledge.
Expectations are clear, fair and realistic, with genuine supervision and support available when you need it.
THE REWARDS
Experience should be valued.
We offer highly competitive contractor remuneration, positioned above the rates typically offered by large generic providers, with rates recognising your experience and expertise.
You'll also have genuine autonomy over:
Your days
Your hours
Your workload
The referrals you accept.
You get the flexibility and earning potential of contracting, backed by the caseload, systems, administration and clinical support of an established practice.
