Role DescriptionThis is a full time and or part time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at Orion Family Physiotherapy in Greater Springfield & Brookwater Springfield Lakes QLD. The Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of musculoskeletal, sports, pediatric, and pelvic health conditions, creating individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting hands-on physiotherapy sessions, prescribing exercise programs, monitoring progress, documenting clinical notes, and collaborating with other allied health professionals such as exercise physiologists, massage therapists,
dietitians and acupuncturists. The role involves educating clients on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and self-management techniques, while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and professional conduct. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to a positive clinic environment by supporting continuous improvement, participating in case discussions, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Recognized degree in Physiotherapy and current FULL registration with AHPRA (the Australian physiotherapy regulatory body).
Demonstrated skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, including assessment, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
Ability to work collaboratively within a strong Physio team
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and time management skills, with attention to detail and protected practice standards.
Clear and advanced communication skills for working with clients, families, and colleagues, including the ability to explain treatment plans and provide education in accessible language.
Comfort with basic technology (Pracsuite, VALD) used in clinical settings
Commitment to ongoing professional learning, evidence-based practice, and maintaining relevant continuing education and certifications.
