Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga is seeking a faith-filled and innovative Catholic leader for the role of Religious Education Coordinator (REC) at Marian Catholic College, Griffith.
Commencing for a January **** start, the successful applicant will demonstrate a deep commitment to the Catholic faith and play a central role in leading the Religious Education curriculum and fostering the faith formation of students within the school community.

As Religious Education Coordinator (REC), you will lead the Religious Education faculty in implementing the diocesan curriculum and ensuring it remains central to the mission and vision of the school. You will play a key role in guiding teaching and learning, supporting staff development, and strengthening the Catholic identity and mission of the College.
You will work closely with the leadership team, staff, parish and wider community to foster authentic partnerships and support the faith formation of students. This includes contributing to Catholic life, leading curriculum innovation, analysing student outcomes, and driving continuous improvement in Religious Education practice
Your New Role
As Religious Education Coordinator, you will:
Lead the delivery and ongoing development of the Religious Education curriculum
Foster a strong Catholic identity and support the evangelising mission of the school
Build staff capability through professional learning and collaboration
Use data and evidence to inform teaching, learning and improvement strategies
Work with clergy, families and the wider community to enhance faith formation
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both educational outcomes and the spiritual life of the College.
Conditions
Full-Time Position
Commencing 27 January ****
Permanent Teaching Position, Temporary Coordinator Position (3 Years, with the option of another 3 years pending successful performance reviews)
Salary determined by NESA Accreditation and Teaching Service + Coordinator 2 Allowance ($20,139 per annum)
Incentives
Petrol Allowance: $2,000 per annum (pro-rata) if travelling >50km (one-way)
Relocation Assistance via Muval if relocating >100km
Retention Incentive ($5,000 per annum (pro-rata) for the first four years of employment)
