Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Campbelltown Parish with an enrolment of approximately 556 pupils.
Location:St John the Evangelist Catholic Parish Primary School, Campbelltown
Permanent and several temporary full time and part time K-6 teaching positions are available at St John the Evangelist Catholic Parish Primary School, Campbelltown. The temporary positions will commence on 28 January **** until 26 January ****.
The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning workplace based on the principles of PB4L.
Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas.
Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
Implement effective teaching strategies in Literacy and Numeracy.
Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues,
parents /carers and the wider school community.
The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organisational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.
Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance withTo Work, Teach and Leadpolicy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
