Ready to step into a role that shapes the student experience? We're seeking a Year Level Leader at our St Clare Campus (Greenvale) for the period from 27 January **** to 26 January ****, with an ongoing teaching opportunity.

Position Details:
Year Level Leader
Level 3 X 2 positions of leadership (POL)

Your duties will include:
Overseeing the wellbeing, behaviour management and social-emotional development of students in the assigned year
Fostering an exemplary standard of pastoral care of students, based on the framework of Restorative Practices
Leading and fostering the professional development of Pastoral Care Teachers
Supporting the transition of new students to the year level and College.
Leading the implementation of social-emotional learning in the assigned year level, utilising the framework of the Respectful Relationships program.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this position you will have the following:




Current Valid VIT registration.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds.
Sound organisational and administrative skills.
A proven capacity to work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressure.
An ability to work collaboratively and facilitate dynamic teamwork.
A capacity to work with staff to build capacity.
A capacity for creative problem-solving and adaptability.
A commitment to ongoing qualified learning.
Exemplary teaching skills and practices.
