The position:
Hillcrest Christian College is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. Working with students in Years 5-8, the successful candidate will inspire a love of learning through engaging, evidence-informed teaching practices that foster strong foundations in literacy while nurturing each student's academic, personal and spiritual growth.
This full time position commencing in ****, with induction on Thursday 14th January, offers the opportunity to create dynamic and inclusive learning experiences that challenge and support students to achieve their potential. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering a high-quality curriculum through a biblical worldview, utilising innovative and future-focused teaching approaches,
including the purposeful integration of digital technologies and AI-enhanced learning where appropriate.
As part of a collaborative and Christ-centred team, the teacher will contribute to a culture of excellence, wellbeing and belonging, building positive relationships with students, families and colleagues while actively supporting the mission and values of the College.
