Due to continued growth in student enrolments, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced TAS Teacher with a VET Hospitality Food and Beverage qualification to join our school community.
Due to continued growth in student enrolments, applications are invited from experienced TAS teachers with a VET Hospitality Food and Beverage qualification for a full-time, permanent teaching position commencing Term 1, ****.

The opportunity
OLMC is seeking an experienced Technology and Applied Studies Teacher with a current VET Hospitality Food and Beverage qualification to join our vibrant learning community. In this role, you will inspire students through cutting-edge, authentic, and industry-connected learning experiences that prepare them for future pathways and success. As a member of our community, you will be committed to nurturing the gifts and talents of every student while upholding and promoting our Catholic ethos. Through your teaching and leadership, you will ensure that Catholic practices and Mercy Values remain central to all aspects of College life.
What are we looking for?




Tertiary qualifications relevant to teaching TAS and currency to deliver Certificate II in Food and Beverage (SIT*****) courses in NSW.
Proven experience teaching Stages 4-6 TAS.
Demonstrated capacity to critically reflect on and adapt teaching practice to enhance student learning outcomes.
Ability to foster a supportive and engaging environment that promotes effective student learning.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational, administrative, and collaborative skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the teaching needs of the College.
Commitment to actively supporting and participating in the life of the College, including its Catholic mission and Mercy values.
Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College (with no regular weekend sporting commitments).
Current Working with Children Check clearance.
Accreditation with NESA.
