Mount Erin Boarding is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic adult who has a demonstrated ability to supervise and care for secondary school aged boarding students, role to commence ASAP
Mount Erin Boarding House:
Mount Erin Boarding is a weekday only, coeducational Boarding Residence that provides students from the Riverina and beyond with the opportunity to undertake their Catholic secondary education in the beautiful regional city of Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. Boarders travel home each weekend.
Boarding at Mount Erin provides the prospect for a balanced academic, spiritual, sporting, and social experience and the chance to make friends for life. Your Current Role
To transport boarding students to and from their offsite medical, dental, and college, and personally arrange and approve activities in the boarding vehicle or College vehicles Monday to Thursday afternoons:



3.30 pm to 6.30pm Transport of students from Tumut via Adelong to Mater Dei on Monday mornings 5.30am-9.30am and return on Friday afternoon 3.30pm-7.30pm.
Professionalism, confidence, and a calm, positive attitude must be maintained with high levels of discretion and confidentiality in all circumstances.

Work Schedule: 20hrs per weekMonday - 5.30am-9.30am, 3.30pm-6.30pm
Tuesday - 3.30pm-6.30pm
Wednesday - 3.30pm-6.30pm
Thursday - 3.30pm-6.30pm
Friday - 3.30pm-7.30pm

Hourly Rate: From $***** per hour - Averaged (term-time only)

As you are employed to work during school terms, you will receive an averaged rate of pay.
Essential Criteria
Demonstrate a commitment to the values of Catholic education.
Have a demonstrated ability to relate to and work with individuals and groups of young adolescent people and contribute to their holistic care.
Demonstrate capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
Hold a current unrestricted Drivers Licence.
Have or be willing to obtain a current Senior First Aid Certificate (Level 2).
Have completed or be willing to complete the Australian Boarding Schools Association Duty of Care Certificate.
Current NSW Working with Children Check




Successful candidate to undertake a National Criminal History Check and undergo a functional assessment
Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools , Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.
