About the Role
St Patrick's College is seeking a passionate and dedicated TAS Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive teaching team.
This is a permanent full time position commencing in Week 1 of Term 1, ****. The successful applicant will be required to teach Design and Technology and/or Textiles Technology across Years 7–12 and contribute positively to the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the College.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Upholding the mission, values and Child Protection commitments of the College
Delivering engaging and effective Technology and Applied Studies programs across Years 7–12
Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing
Developing, implementing and evaluating curriculum and assessment programs in collaboration with faculty colleagues
Differentiate teaching and learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
Monitoring, assessing and reporting on student progress in accordance with College requirements




Using assessment data to inform teaching practice and enhance student outcomes
Fostering creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking skills through authentic learning experiences
Working collaboratively with colleagues, Year Coordinators and Learning Support staff
Maintaining effective communication with parents and carers regarding student learning and wellbeing
Supporting the pastoral care, co-curricular and community life of the College
Participating in professional learning and ongoing curriculum development initiatives

About You
You are an enthusiastic educator who is committed to academic excellence, student growth and the mission of Catholic education.
You will bring:
Appropriate qualifications and accreditation to teach TAS subjects in NSW secondary schools
NESA Accreditation (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience teaching Design and Technology and/or Textiles Technology (desirable)
A demonstrated ability to inspire and engage young women in learning
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
The ability to create safe, supportive and inclusive learning environments
Experience using assessment and student data to inform teaching practice
Excellent communication, organisational and collaborative skills
A commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice
An understanding of and commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic education
A current NSW Working with Children Check
