Your Recent Role
Support CEDWW and the system of schools with all aspects of the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring CEDWW meet their legal, financial and tax obligations. Provide specialist AP/AR advice and support to CEDWW staff and School Finance Officers. Manage the financial and reporting modules of the Catholic Schools NSW Sport Portal on behalf of CEDWW. Undertake monthly internal audit of School transactions for financial and taxation legislation compliance, internal policy compliance and government reporting requirements. Providing feedback and training as required and implementing corrective actions including journal entries.

Salary: Grade 4 - Starting at $71,****** per annum plus superannuation

Selection Criteria
Minimum 3 years' experience in a high volume accounts payable and accounts receivable environment.
Proven understanding of current Australian Tax Legislation including GST and Fringe Benefits Tax.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting concepts.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to explain financial situations to non-financial people and to communicate, network and negotiate with all levels of an organisation.
Experience working with commercial finance management systems.
Well developed Microsoft Excel skills.
Willing to complete an Accreditation for Support Staff (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools , Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga).
Ability to travel overnight if required.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Current Driver's Licence.
Current NSW Working with Children Check.
Successful candidate will undergo a National Criminal History Check.
