Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)

As we plan for ****, a unique opportunity exists for a globally-minded, experienced early years teacher passionate about early childhood practice and pedagogy.

This is a full-time position, commencing January ****.

The ideal candidate will:
have a strong understanding and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and Primary Years Program (PYP) Pedagogy

collaborate to design, implement and reflect on play-based learning experiences that respond to children's interests, strengths and needs, fostering curiosity, inquiry and active engagement in learning

have an enthusiasm to teach children in a way that is innovative, engaging and inclusive

effectively manage the classroom to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

demonstrate strengths in communication, relationship building and teamwork

'Building Foundations for Life' RESPECT - FLOURISH - SERVE Immanuel Primary is a school of the Lutheran Church of Australia established in ****. It is located on the same campus as Immanuel College Novar Gardens, in the western suburbs of Adelaide, 5 minutes from Glenelg beach and 12 minutes from the city centre. It serves 670 students from ELC to Year 6, with 3 streams in Reception to Year 6 year levels.
