About the role
FPI is looking for a Strength & Conditioning Coach to deliver athletic development programming to youth footballers, Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm–8:00pm. This is a hands-on coaching role with genuine progression potential for the right person, it can grow into a senior position overseeing and mentoring other trainers and coaches.
You'll be supported directly by directors with elite-level experience across A-League clubs, giving you access to high-performance coaching mentorship not typically available at this career stage.
What you'll be doing
• Athletic profiling and benchmarking of youth athletes
• Designing and delivering periodised training programs
• Explaining testing results and progress to athletes and parents
• Justifying programming decisions with sound rationale
• Liaising with coaching staff to align athletic development with football programming
• Running group and individual sessions across the week
About you
• Passionate about long-term athletic development (LTAD) and youth performance
• Minimum ASCA Level 1 accreditation
• Current Working With Children Check
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
• CPR accredited (or willing to obtain before start date)
• Available Monday–Friday, 4:00 pm–8:30 pm
• Robust communicator, comfortable engaging with parents and coaching staff
• Ambitious – keen to grow into a leadership/mentoring role over time
Remuneration: $55 – $65 per hour.
Start date: 17 August **** – applications reviewed on a rolling basis, so early applications encouraged.
