Job Description
The Terang Bowls Club is seeking to appoint a playing coach for the upcoming ********* season. The Club currently has 6 teams in the Warrnambool District Bowls Region (WDPA); 3 in both Weekend and Midweek pennant competitions.

The coach will be responsible for:

n
Structured and planned training sessions.
n
Preparation of the players for pennant competition.
n
Assistance in the selection and preparation of all pennant teams.
n
Developing each player's potential and providing opportunities to learn different team roles.
n
Providing positive feedback and post-game analysis to the players.
n
Assistance with player recruitment and retention.
n
Adherence to player selection guidelines.
n
Advising both selection and match committee.
n




Communication with players when moved between grades. (up and down)
n

Skills and knowledge required for this role:

Accredited coach certification or the ability to obtain the appropriate
n
Accreditation prior to appointment.
n
Playing experience and the ability to perform to high quality levels.
n
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Be enthusiastic, dedicated, flexible, and innovative
n
n
Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package will be available for negotiation based on experience, accreditation, and playing/coach background.
