About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight to senior stakeholders. This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with business leaders to drive financial performance, support strategic initiatives and enable informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Partner with senior leaders and executives to provide trusted financial advice and strategic decision support.
n
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance management.
n
Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
n
Provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy and resource allocation.
n
Develop and enhance management reporting, financial analysis and performance frameworks.
n
Support business cases, investment decisions, current initiatives and strategic projects.
n
Translate complex financial information into clear and actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
n
Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, efficiency and value for money.
n
Build strong relationships across finance and the wider business, operating as a true business partner.
n




Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting and business partnering.
n
Support and mentor finance team members and contribute to broader finance capability.
n

About You:
n
We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who can operate confidently at a senior level and build strong relationships across a complex organisation.
n
Key requirements:
n
n
CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent finance/accounting qualifications.
n
Significant experience in a Senior Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance or FP&A; role.
n
Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management experience.
n
Excellent analytical and financial modelling capability.
n
Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
n
Experience working autonomously in a complex, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
n
A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify risks, opportunities and value-creation initiatives.
n
A continuous improvement mindset and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
n
Experience within education, government, not-for-profit or another complex large-scale organisation would be highly regarded.
n
Experience with modern ERP and financial planning systems such as Workday and Adaptive Planning would be advantageous.
n
