A health service on the NSW/VIC border is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to provide weekend locum coverage for an adult inpatient mental health unit throughout 2026. This role involves onsite clinical coverage during the day with on‐call support outside of those hours, within a well‐supported multidisciplinary inpatient setting.

Key Details

- Department: Mental Health – Adult Inpatient Unit
- Setting: 24‐bed locked inpatient unit with 3 Intensive Care Area (ICA) beds
- Support: Registrar support 08:30 – 12:30 on Saturday and Sunday
- Payment: $2,500 per day
- Accommodation: Provided
- Travel: Car hire (approval required) or reimbursement for own vehicle at ATO rates

Shift Structure

- Onsite: 08:30 – 14:00 daily
- On‐call: Phone support after 14:00
- Weekend block:
