Temporary full time opportunity to provide high-level and high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services, leadership and case co-ordination as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers of the Older Persons Mental Health Service (OPMHS), with complex mental health disorders, their families, carers and relevant stakeholders.

About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to deliver care in a community setting with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and rehabilitation framework.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply independent professional judgement and clinical decision making to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
- Undertake high level and non-routine clinical duties as required in support of the service, management, and other clinical members within the mental health service with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
- Provide high-level and non-routine clinical advice and professional advocacy to multidisciplinary team members, operational and professional leaders, and external clinicians on the assessment, treatment planning, and management of consumers with complex mental health disorders.
- Engage in varied and complex inter-sectoral linking and liaison with relevant stakeholders and partners,
including communication and interpretation of complex clinical information to secure the service needs of consumers.
