As our client continues to grow, they are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join the business at an exciting stage of its journey.

Reporting directly to experienced finance leadership, you'll take ownership of core financial reporting and compliance activities while providing the commercial insights that support business performance and decision-making.

This is a role for someone who enjoys accountability, operates with a high degree of independence, and wants to contribute beyond the numbers.

You'll join a collaborative team where finance is viewed as a business partner, with the opportunity to influence reporting, improve processes, and support the organisation as it continues to evolve.

Key Responsibilities

- Own month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
- Prepare management reports, financial analysis and performance insights
- Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage statutory compliance obligations, including BAS, payroll tax and FBT
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow activities
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insights and support decision-making
- Assist with external audits and maintain a strong controls environment
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, systems and processes
- Contribute to projects that support business growth and operational efficiency

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong technical capability with the ability to understand how financial performance translates into business outcomes.

You'll bring:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior Financial Accountant role within a commercial environment
- Strong financial reporting, compliance and technical accounting expertise
- Experience providing analysis and insights that support operational and commercial decision-making
- The ability to build effective relationships across the business
- NetSuite experience
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
- A resilient and adaptable approach in a changing setting
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A proactive approach to improving processes, reporting and controls
