HR Systems Lead

Lead a critical HR technology portfolio and drive the delivery, support and continuous improvement of enterprise people systems within a large and complex environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HRIS, People Systems or HCM skilled to take ownership of a key HR systems portfolio, ensuring platforms are reliable, secure, well-governed and aligned to business priorities.

Working closely with HR, Technology, vendors and business stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the roadmap, driving service improvements and delivering system enhancements that support thousands of employees across the organisation.

The Role

As the HR Systems Lead, you will be responsible for the ongoing delivery, support and optimisation of critical HR technology platforms.

You will act as the key link between business and technology teams, ensuring HR systems continue to evolve, deliver value and meet operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery, support and continuous improvement of HR systems and related services.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technology outcomes.
- Manage system enhancements, releases, testing, change and service transition activities.
- Drive operational excellence, service reliability and user experience improvements.
- Coordinate internal technology teams, vendors and delivery partners.
- Ensure governance, security, risk and compliance requirements are effectively managed.
- Oversee incident, problem and change management processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation and improved ways of working.




- Maintain documentation, reporting and operational readiness across the HR systems landscape.

About You

You will bring a strong combination of HR technology expertise, stakeholder management capability and service delivery experience gained within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Experience

- Experience leading or managing HRIS, HCM, People Systems or Workforce Systems platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise HR applications such as Oracle HCM, Workday, SuccessFactors or similar.
- Experience within service delivery, application management, product ownership or HR technology leadership roles.
- Proven experience delivering system improvements, enhancements and operational change initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across both business and technology teams.
- Experience working with vendors, managed service providers and external partners.
- A solid understanding of governance, service management and continuous improvement principles.
