AWX Brisbane is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer - Turf Layer to join our team for ongoing work across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
If you're experienced in landscaping/turfing, enjoy hands-on work and are ready to get stuck in, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Turf preparation, installation and maintenance
- Preparing soil and surfaces for turf installation
- Laying, cutting and joining turf to achieve a quality finish
- Soil preparation, levelling and grading
- General landscape labouring
- Assisting with loading and unloading the turf off the trucks
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
- Working effectively as part of a team while maintaining high WHS standards
- Travelling across job sites in the Brisbane and surrounding areas
Requirements
- Previous landscaping experience, with hands-on turfing experience highly desirable
- Construction Induction White Card
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Full PPE - steel cap boots, hi-vis shirt, hard hat, gloves and safety glasses
- Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel between job sites across Brisbane and surrounding areas
