About the role
Are you an Assistant in Nursing looking for an chance to make a real difference in a close-knit community?

Located between Inverell and Moree, Warialda Multi-Purpose Service is a welcoming rural health service supporting the local community across Emergency Department, inpatient and aged care services.

You'll be part of a small and friendly team where everyone works together to provide comprehensive care. The varied nature of the service provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical experience and develop your skills across different areas of healthcare.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

- Provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients and aged care residents.
- Assist patients and residents with personal care, mobility, communication and activities of daily living.
- Provide nursing care within your scope of practice and under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist the nursing team with routine clinical and technical support functions.
- Support the Emergency Department as required.

Essential requirements

- Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing; or
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree, having completed first year and first semester or trimester of second year; or
- Currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing and have completed the identified foundational units in practice and 80 hours of clinical placement.

Experience in a rural or multipurpose service environment is highly regarded, but what matters most is your commitment to providing quality care and your willingness to learn.
