The Role
This department is seeking a Business Support Officer to join their team on an 8-week contract, supporting the Aged Work Order Project. This is a customer-focused position involving regular outbound calls to contractors and customers, alongside data entry and general administrative support.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Making outbound calls to contractors and customers regarding aged work orders
- Responding to enquiries and providing clear, professional customer service
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to obtain information and progress outstanding matters
- Completing high-volume data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Following up outstanding actions and escalating delays or issues where required
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative and project-related tasks

Your Profile





- Previous customer service and/or call centre experience
- Confident making a high volume of outbound calls to customers and contractors
- Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid stakeholder engagement skills with a friendly and approachable communication style
- Ability to research information, use sound judgement and confidently problem-solve
- Proactive approach with the ability to seek clarification, manage priorities and communicate potential issues
- Previous QLD State Government experience will be highly regarded
