About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our team at Shea-Oak Log, SA.

Working within our Machine Shop and Production team, you will be responsible for machining, fitting, repairing and maintaining mechanical components and equipment used in the manufacture of Australia's leading silo and grain storage systems.

This hands-on role will see you working with both CNC and manual machinery while contributing to the ongoing reliability and efficiency of our operations.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operate CNC and conventional machine tools including lathes, mills and drills.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.

- Fabricate, repair and assemble mechanical components and equipment.

- Perform maintenance,



fault finding and preventative maintenance activities.

What We're Looking For

- Trade qualified Fitter Machinist with experience in machining and mechanical maintenance.

- Strong ability to read technical drawings and solve mechanical problems.

- Current Driver's Licence and Construction Industry White Card.

- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and working as part of a team.

- Forklift Licence highly regarded.

- Additional high-risk licences, including Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP, Dogging or Rigging, will be advantageous.
