As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, the Compensation Scheme of Last Resort (CSLR) is an important part of Australia’s external dispute resolution framework. Our mission is to help victims of financial misconduct and build trust in the finance industry. This is your opportunity to make a difference, working within a small, passionate team committed to improving access to redress in financial services.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, the Business Operations Coordinator is a key support role that helps ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the organisation. You'll work across finance administration, procurement, vendor management, facilities, operational support and executive administration, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
This role can be undertaken on either a full-time or part-time basis (4 days per week) and would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and thrives in a dynamic environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the organisation's financial operations, including invoice processing, expenditure tracking, reconciliations and reporting.
- Coordinating procurement activities, managing supplier relationships and maintaining contract registers and renewal schedules.
- Acting as the key liaison for technology vendors, coordinating IT support requests, onboarding, offboarding and system access requirements.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Providing operational support across the business, including reporting, planning, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Overseeing day-to-day office and facilities management to ensure a productive workplace environment.
- Supporting governance and compliance activities, including policy implementation and adherence to organisational standards.
- Delivering high-quality administrative and executive support, including meeting coordination, stakeholder communications and responding to enquiries.
If you're a proactive self-starter who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. This is a parental leave cover for 6-12 months, starting on Monday 23rd November.
