HV Electrician

Hays are partnering with a mining company in care maintenance to replace a member of their Electrical team on an 8:6 roster. This is a drive-in-drive-out opportunity on the South Coast of WA. In this HV Electrician chance you will join an experienced crew of 5. This role offers free nearby accommodation with the option to stay on your week off if you prefer.

Skills Required:
- Experience working in the Mining industry as an Electrician in an Electrical Maintenance role.
- Experience working with Diesel Generators.
- Experience working with High Voltage, up to 33,000 volts.
- Instrumentation experience is highly desired.
- HV switching ticket is essential.
- Full Australian Driving licence.

More About the role:
- Wednesday to Wednesday shift. You will be paid from 6am to drive to the site and then will work the remainder of the day. Equally,



you will be paid to travel back home on your final shift and will be allowed to leave the site early to get home at a reasonable time in the afternoon.
- On call rota. Not every weekend, but there is an on-call rota where you will be expected to be local. You get paid 10hrs on Saturday and Sunday even without being called out.
