Our client is seeking experienced Electricians for an immediate start on a major mining operation in South Australia. This FIFO role will see you performing preventative and reactive maintenance works on underground fixed plant and reticulation systems as part of an established maintenance team.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on underground maintenance role working across critical mining infrastructure. You will be involved in fault finding, cable terminations, control circuit troubleshooting, and general electrical maintenance activities within a challenging underground environment.

This is a 6-month backfill assignment with the potential to extend.

About the Project

Working within an underground mining environment, duties will include:

- Preventative and reactive fixed plant maintenance
- Underground reticulation works
- SWA cable installations and terminations
- Fault finding and control circuit troubleshooting
- Electrical inspections and repairs

This role can be physically demanding and is conducted in a hot underground environment.

About You

You are an experienced electrician with a solid maintenance background and the ability to work safely within industrial or mining environments.

You will bring:

- Experience with SWA cables and terminations
- Strong fault-finding skills




- Fixed plant maintenance experience
- Commitment to safety and teamwork

Highly desirable:

- Olympic Dam Underground Induction
- Underground Driving Qualification
- Level 1 Isolator Training

- SA Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)

- Confined Space Entry
- LVR/CPR (within 12 months)
