Mechatronics Engineer | Junior to Mid-Level | Sydney-Based

A growing Sydney technology company is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Mechatronics Engineer to help design and build intelligent hardware products for challenging real-world environments.

This is a hands-on startup role where you’ll work across mechanical design, electronics and prototyping, with exposure to the full product lifecycle from initial concept through to deployment.

What you’ll be doing

- 3D CAD and mechanical design for enclosures, mounts and components
- PCB design, layout and development
- Building, assembling and testing prototypes
- Integrating sensors, cameras, electronics and embedded hardware
- Troubleshooting and improving designs through real-world testing
- Working closely with software, AI and hardware engineers

What they’re looking for

- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering




- Around 1 to 5 years’ relevant experience
- Solid CAD design skills
- Hands-on PCB design and electronics experience
- Comfortable prototyping, testing and debugging hardware
- An interest in robotics, embedded systems or intelligent hardware
