About the role

We are seeking a dedicated EFTPOS Field Service Agent to join Procom Holdings Pty Ltd. This is a casual fulltime position based in Osborne Park, WA, offering flexibility and the chance to work independently in the field. As an EFTPOS Field Service Agent, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and replacement of EFTPOS terminals and payment processing equipment at merchant locations across the region. This role is essential to ensuring our clients maintain reliable payment processing capabilities and receive prompt, professional technical support.

Key responsibilities

- Install, configure, and test EFTPOS terminals and related payment processing equipment at merchant locations

- Conduct routine maintenance and preventative servicing on EFTPOS machines to ensure optimal performance

- Diagnose and replace faulty EFTPOS terminals, addressing both hardware and software issues

- Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot technical problems reported by clients

- Provide technical support and guidance to merchants on the operation of EFTPOS equipment

- Document all service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance work performed

- Maintain accurate records of equipment serviced and parts used during each visit

- Liaise with clients to understand their technical requirements and ensure satisfaction with service delivery

- Travel to multiple merchant locations throughout the Perth area and surrounding regions

What we're looking for

- Experience in EFTPOS terminal installation is beneficial but not essential. On the job training will be provided

- Technical knowledge of payment processing systems and point-of-sale equipment is desirable

- Strong technical aptitude,



a genuine interest in technology and ability to troubleshoot problems with hardware and software logically

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple service locations

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate service records and documentation

- Physical capability to lift and handle EFTPOS equipment safely

- Be well presented with the ability to work unsupervised.

- Current or recent experience in a similar field service technician role is highly valued

- Valid driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle for field-based work

- Expected to work 5 days a week and rostered weekend work when required

- A current WA driver’s license (compulsory)

- A current Police check, within the last 3 months (compulsory)
