The Estate Planning Centre
Sydney
The Estate Planning Centre is a boutique law firm specialising in Wills and Estates, located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. We advise individuals and families across estate planning, deceased estate administration, business succession planning, and the resolution of disputed and litigated estates.
As our firm continues to grow, we are looking for a warm, capable and highly organised Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This is a newly created position and a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in being organised and would like to build their skills within a professional and supportive legal environment.
As a key point of contact for our clients, you will bring warmth, professionalism and confidence to every interaction. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional client experience and treating each person who comes to us with genuine care, understanding and respect.
We are looking for someone reliable, honest, willing to learn and takes pride in doing things well. You will need to manage competing priorities, follow systems and processes, communicate clearly, and contribute positively to a busy team.

- Preparing client presentations and meeting materials
- Assisting with witnessing documents at client meetings
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Providing general administrative and office support
- Helping ensure the office and client experience run smoothly each day
As this is a newly created position within a growing firm, there will also be an opportunity to develop the role over time and make it your own.
About you
You may already have some experience in reception, administration, hospitality or customer service, although previous legal experience is not required.
- We think you will thrive in this role if you:
- Love systems, order and efficiency and have excellent attention to detail
- Enjoy supporting a team and helping others do their best work
- Bring warmth, professionalism and initiative to the workplace
- Are confident speaking with clients both in person and over the telephone
- Communicate clearly and professionally by phone and email
- Are comfortable working in a busy environment and can prioritise multiple tasks
- Are mature, dependable and have a solid work ethic
- Are well-presented and take pride in representing the firm professionally
- Have a positive attitude and are genuinely willing to learn
- Are confident using Microsoft Word and Outlook
Experience with practice management or other professional services software would be highly regarded,
but is not essential. We provide training and are particularly interested in finding someone with the right attitude, aptitude and interest in developing their skills.
About us
We are a warm, supportive and collaborative team specialising in Wills and Estates.
We offer:
- A friendly and welcoming team environment
- Training and support as you develop in the role
- A genuine focus on professional development, individual goals and personal growth
- Premium Sydney CBD offices close to Martin Place, St James and Town Hall stations, opposite Westfield Sydney
- Excellent facilities and a professional working environment
- The opportunity to join a specialist firm at an exciting stage of its growth
- Meaningful work supporting clients and families through important stages of their lives
Hours
This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position, Monday to Friday, with ordinary hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Succession law is a highly personal area of practice, involving regular client meetings and the preparation, signing and management of important legal documents. As this is a client-facing role with an important in-office presence, the position is office-based and does not include a regular work-from-home arrangement.
If you enjoy people, organisation, and being an important part of a team, and you are looking for an opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow, we would love to hear from you.
If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you. Please email us at: ***************@theestateplanningcentre.com.au
