Lead Glazier / Installer – Karratha Branch

Full Time | 7:00am - 3:30pm Mon-Fri

A fully loaded $150,000 P.A including salary + subsidised housing

Are you an experienced Glazier / Installer who knows their trade, can think ahead and is ready to take the next step into a hands-on leadership role?

Kempglaze Glass & Aluminium in Karratha is on the hunt for a Lead Glazier / Installer to foster, grow and lead the glazier and installer team.

We’re busy, we’re growing and we need someone who can lead from the front. You’ll still be on the tools and working alongside the team, but you’ll also take responsibility for helping coordinate the day-to-day installation workload, keeping the team organised and making sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Our work is diverse, with local projects ranging from residential renovations and repairs through to commercial work and new builds.

Here’s what we need from you:

- Qualified Glazier / Installer with strong industry experience

- Confident leading, supporting and working alongside a team of glaziers and installers

- Able to help coordinate the team’s daily workload and keep jobs moving

- Strong planning skills with the ability to think ahead and identify what the team needs for upcoming work

- Confident taking the lead on site and solving problems as they arise

- Ability to read and work from plans, specifications and measurements

- Strong communication skills with your team, customers, builders and our office

- Able to carry out site measures, assessments and pre-install checks

- Comfortable providing guidance and direction while still being part of the team

- Ability to adapt to new procedures, systems and workflows

- Honest, reliable and accountable

- Takes pride in their own work and the standard of work delivered by their team

- Residential and commercial glazing experience highly regarded

- Current manual driver’s licence

This isn’t an office-based management role. We’re looking for someone who wants to be on the tools, leading from the front – someone the team can turn to for direction, who keeps an eye on the bigger picture and takes ownership of getting the job done properly.
