About this role

- Use data and insight to help make Victorian roads safer.
- Coordinate reports that guide important road safety decisions.
- Work on projects that support safer roads across Victoria.
- Help deliver the goal of reducing road deaths and serious injuries.
- Ongoing, full-time role earning $116,413 - $128,631 per year, plus super.

What you will do

As Senior Program Officer, you will coordinate reporting and projects that support road safety across Victoria.

You will turn complex information into clear advice for senior leaders and Ministers.

You will:

- coordinate statistical reports and trackers on road safety cameras and related projects
- prepare clear advice, briefings and reports on complex road safety issues
- support project planning, governance, reporting and change across road safety work
- build strong working relationships with department staff and people outside the department
- support the manager with project advice and reporting for senior leaders and Ministers.

About you

A qualification in a related field or relevant work experience is desirable. You will bring strong experience in analysis, reporting or project work.

You should also have:

- strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex issues and give clear advice
- excellent writing skills, with experience preparing concise reports, briefings and presentations
- data skills, with experience analysing and presenting information to senior leaders
- project management skills, including reporting, budgets, risks, issues, schedules and project governance.
